THIS VEHICLE
Original delivery was in this striking White exterior paint (lovely period cream) complemented by its original red leather interior and mid-red plush carpet, in well preserved and original condition.
This 250SE Coupe was purchased by Parry Chana for the current owner around six years ago, who has now moved onto the V8 engined Coupe, making extensive use of it, and reporting it to be reminiscent of a similar Mercedes-Benz owned by his father in his childhood.
The vehicle comes in a very solid condition and has had a re-paint at some time. It shows a very solid undercarriage, which is often not seen in these models in the UK unless restored.
Extensive mechanical work to brakes, cooling system, ignition and fuel system with regular maintenance, has kept the Mercedes-Benz 250SE in a lovely, smooth driving condition. Work has recently been carried out by our in house team too.
Lovely touches are the wind-down windows providing a pillarless clean appearance, which is complimented by a recent lovely restored Burr Walnut dash and panel work, adding to a superior finish and feel.
This car comes highly recommended by Parry Chana at Lux Classics: “In my opinion, this well preserved and mechanically sorted car, which has resulted in a Mercedes-Benz 250SE Coupe which not only looks stunning, but also delivers an ease of driving, with light, smooth power steering, manual gear shift and an extremely quiet drivetrain”
The car comes with a small history file, original handbook, new upgraded period looking Becker radio, original tool roll kit, jack and original rubber boot mat.
This vehicle is available for viewing in the UK on an appointment basis & would suit a collector with whom this vehicle will represent a good acquisition opportunity.
